As an artist, I find myself grounded
in reality: the particular, the focused, the well-observed or
specifically imagined. In my art I search for the moments and
images that hold simple truth, quiet joys, sorrows and the ordinary
magic that compose the majority of our lives. I attempt to define these
moments within the context of nature and landscape. Creating art gives
me the freedom to define and renew my world every time I put pencil to
paper.
