Frank Brabec is a recently retired computer
hardware/software project manager. He has been photographing
wildlife/nature since 1989 with an emphasis on western big game animals
and wild flowers. He has an extensive portfolio of over 75,000 slides
including such animals as Polar Bears and Mountain Lions. He has
photographed all over the US. His favorite place to photograph is in
Yellowstone National Park. YNP has a very diverse range of subjects
with its animals, geysers and wildflowers in the spring, and greatly
varying backdrops.
Frank does all of his own printing
utilizing a digital darkroom and state of the art Epson printers. He
can print images from 4in.x 6in. to 44in. x 100ft. His software
includes all of Adobes Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, GoLive,
InDesign). Frank is a member of NANPA (North American Nature
Photographers Association), CNPA (Carolina Nature Photographers
Association) and NAPP (National Association of Photoshop
Professionals). His work can be seen at W.W. Treenware, Elgin, TX.
