I believe that the older you get, the
closer your soul is to the surface. My art is a reflection of
soul. Its what comes out when you’re not conscious of what is
really happening. I was 40 when I discovered the medium of
stained glass and have been having a great time with it ever since. It
enables me to use all of my artistic and mechanical skills in one
process. The foil technique I use, which was invented by Louis
Comfort Tiffany, begins with the designing of a panel. Picking
suitable glass is probably the most critical part, then the glass must
be cut. Each piece must be wrapped with foil tape. Then all of
the pieces are soldered together. A frame must then be cut and
attached to the panel. Patina is applied to the solder and the
whole thing must be polished. It’s all fun!
I am very versatile and willing to design
the perfect window for you! I also do occasional booth shows
around Texas.
